TITLE OF THE PROGRAM

Fulbright Foreign Student Program (FFSP) 2025-2026

PROGRAM DETAILS

The scholarship provides an opportunity for Filipinos to study at the graduate level (master’s or doctoral studies) or pursue non-degree doctoral dissertation in the United States.

SPONSOR

The grant provides for round-trip international travel, monthly maintenance allowance, tuition fees, book/supplies allowance, and health and accident insurance.

DURATION

The program will support for a maximum of one academic year for non-degree research and LLM, one to two years for MA/MA, and two years for doctoral degree studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Interested applicants shall possess the following qualification requirements of the DENR:

  • Have at least two (2) years holding permanent plantilla position in the DENR at the time of application;

  • Have obtained performance ratings of at least Very Satisfactory for the last two (2) consecutive rating periods;

  • Performing duties and responsibilities relevant to the field of study/travel being applied for;

  • Have no pending administrative case;

  • Have no pending application and nomination for other study and non-study trips;

  • Have not exceeded four (4) official foreign travel within a year;

  • Have submitted all the required reports from previous foreign travels;

  • Have rendered the required service obligation for a scholarship previously enjoyed;

  • Must be willing to conduct a master’s thesis aligned to the priority programs of the Department or related topics to be identified/approved by the DENR;

  • Must be willing to sign a scholarship service contract and shall serve the DENR with the corresponding period of service obligation; and

  • Must not be a delinquent scholar.

DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

The nominee shall submit the following requirements to Career Development Division-HRDS:

  • Memorandum addressed to the Chair of the Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC), attention HRDC Secretariat to be endorsed by Head of Office and concurred by Supervising Undersecretary/Assistant Secretary;

  • Resolution from HRDC Counterpart recommending the nomination of the applicant;

  • Service Record;

  • Certificate of no pending administrative case;

  • Certification from the Director supervising human resources/Assistant Regional Director for Management Service/Assistant Director (Region/Bureau/Attached Agency) stating that the applicant:

    • has no pending scholarship nomination;

    • has not been a delinquent scholar from a previous scholarship grant;

    • has submitted all the required reports from previous foreign travels; and

    • has performance ratings of at least Very Satisfactory for the last two (2) consecutive rating periods.

  • Updated Personal Data Sheet, with Work Experience Sheet, duly signed by authorized person administering oath; and

  • Self Certification of official Travel History for the past 24 months.

REMARKS

  1. Official or certified transcript of records from all colleges/universities attended
  2. Certified true copy of diploma (not original)
  3. Three letters of reference (in order to register your recommendations, you must first complete the Reference Materials Waiver on the Study Plan page of your online application)
  4. NBI Clearance acquired in the past 6 months (upload as a PDF file on the Country-Specific Materials portion under the Additional Information tab)

Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) Scholarship Programme for Academic Year 2024-2025 in Hungary

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) Scholarship Programme is an academic
scholarship established by the Hungarian Government. The objective is to promote the
internationalization of Hungarian higher education and to attract top foreign students from all
around the world who can build personal and professional attachments to Hungary while
enjoying high quality education in the heart of Europe.

Interested applicants shall possess the following qualification requirements of the DENR:

  • Have at least two (2) years holding permanent plantilla position in the DENR at the time of application;

TITLE OF THE PROGRAM

Project for Human Resource Develppment Scholarship Program by Japanese Grant Aid (JDS) Academic Year 2024-2025

PROGRAM DETAILS

Since its inception in 2002, the JDS Project has dispatched 439 fellows from different Philippine Government agencies and organizations to various prestigious Japanese universities. Twenty fellows will be dispatched in 2024
to undertake the master's degree programs.

2024 CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

PROGRAM DETAILS

Chevening is the UK Government’s global awards programme aimed at developing future leaders and influences by offering fully-funded scholarships and fellowships to study in the UK. Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals with demonstrable leadership potential who also have a strong academic background.

SPONSOR

The scholarship offers full financial support to study any eligible master’s degree at any UK university. Applicants are required to select three course choices when applying for a Chevening Award. These can be three different courses at the same institution or three similar courses at up to three different universities. The program is intended for young individuals aged 35 years and below (Master's degree) and aged 40 years old and below (PhD degree) who are expected to contribute in the policy formulation and implementation relative to sustainable development issues of respective fields.
