HARMONY PRAYER FOR PEACE



Secretary Ramon J. P. Paje (in eyeglasses) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) leads the agency’s employees in reciting the Harmony Prayer that kicked off the celebration of September as National Peace Consciousness Month. The month-long celebration, with theme: “Ako. Ikaw. Tayo. Magkakaiba, Nagkakaisa sa Kapayapaan,” intends to promote a culture of peace among Filipinos. It also aims to raise awareness on the need to advance the government’s on-going peace process with Moro and communist rebel groups.
