RECOGNITION
Members of the core group that reviewed and revised the Code of Practice (COP) for the refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) industry are feted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources through its Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) during the recent launch of the book held at the Quezon City Sports Plaza. The COP covers various topics ranging from the use of alternatives to ozone-depleting substances such as chlorofluorocarbons as refrigerants, to handling, storage, recovery, recycling, collection, transport and disposal of such chemicals.
